Our focus at AutoTest is on developing testing and diagnostic instruments. An important part of our business is to work closely with each of our distributors and customers in ensuring they know how to correctly use our products.
As the latest vehicles are released and government regulations are amended, we are regularly making updates to our products to make sure they perform to the highest standards of automotive testing.
We recently spent time with the Burson Auto Parts team to give a comprehensive training on the use and installation of 4 of our hero diagnostic products. While maintaining a safe distance, we held a contact free session with the AutoLight and AutoLight Plus light tint meter; AutoStop Maxi brake meter; AutoTest Workshop Pro tablet; and AutoTest Headlight Align headlight aimer.
The most beneficial instruction we were able to demonstrate was the position the AutoStop Maxi needs to be in the vehicle for an accurate test. The AutoStop Maxi needs to be seat belted into the passenger seat facing forwards – meaning, the lid is open and closer to the windscreen and not the back of the seat. The operator will then start the unit and enter all of the test details while it is in “Test Position”.
This instruction will be invaluable to pass on to their customers.
